Doug

FOUNDER AND CEO

Doug started The Rent Experts in 2013 with his business partner Rameh Khazen. As a realtor and a committed member of the National Association of Realtors, he is deeply invested in upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics within the real estate industry. Beyond his professional life, he is a devoted father to his two sons, Alex and Ian, who are 16 and 18 years old. His personal interests are broad and deeply meaningful to him, encompassing everything from an enduring love for Star Trek, which speaks to his adventurous spirit, to his admiration for figures like George S. Patton and Nick Saban, who embody the qualities of leadership and resilience that he strives to emulate.

His commitment to community and service is reflected in his active participation with the Knights of Columbus, where he volunteers to assist those less fortunate, and his involvement with organizations such as the Fifty Funny Fellows, Crewe of Columbus, and Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick, through which he engages with cultural and social initiatives. His faith is an important aspect of his life, leading him to attend services at The Cathedral-Basilica of The Immaculate Conception every Sunday. His hobbies offer him a diverse range of joys, from collecting license plates as a member of the ALPCA, to engaging in woodworking projects, challenging himself with daily games of Wordle and Connections, and unwinding with his cherished vinyl record collection. His life is a blend of dedication to his career, service to his community, love for his family, and pursuit of his passions, making every day a fulfilling journey.

VP OF SALES

Christian is a devoted family man with a profound love for sports, community, and real estate. As a husband and father of four, his greatest joy comes from spending quality time with his beautiful wife and children. He has been gracefully saved by Jesus Christ, believes in the Gospel, and tries to live his life to love God and love people.

Outside of his family and church life, his passion for sports and real estate runs deep. Though he loves all sports, his fandom is mostly devoted to 3 teams: the Atlanta Braves, the Buffalo Bills, and the University of Alabama. He is deeply involved in real estate investing. Whether it’s managing rental properties, acquiring rental properties, or navigating the challenges of new ventures, his entrepreneurial spirit thrives with these opportunities. In essence, he is an individual who values family bonds, community connections, the thrill of sports, and strategic pursuits in real estate investing.

CHIEF OF OPERATIONS

Alexia is a proud Mobile, AL native. She has a deep love for her city, especially its rich Mardi Gras traditions. Staying active is a key part of her life, and she indulges in hobbies like working out & dancing. In her free time, you’ll find her spending time with her boyfriend and two cats, reading her favorite books, or listening to music. Whenever she gets the chance, she loves heading to the beach to unwind and appreciate the coastal beauty that surrounds us.

Albina is proud to be an Accountant at The Rent Experts since 2022. As an Accountant, she is committed to resolving problems and maintaining accurate metrics and reports. With a strong attention to detail and a dedication to continuous improvement, she thrives in fast-paced environments where accuracy and efficiency are paramount and reduce errors in property management accounting. She had the privilege of graduating with an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis, further enhancing her knowledge and skills in the field. One of the things that sets her apart is her ability to communicate effectively in three languages.

Originally from Ukraine, she made the exciting move from St. Louis to Mobile in 2021. Outside of her professional life, she has a passion for traveling, which stems from her previous experience in the tourism industry. During her travels, she enjoys capturing moments through photography and videography. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and exploring the fascinating field of psychology are among her hobbies and interests. She is excited to bring her skills, experience, and passion for numbers to The Rent Experts and contribute to the success of the property management company.

Born and raised in South Mississippi, Richard has always had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. From the hiking trails to the moments spent fishing by the riverbank, and the thrill of the hunt in the woods, outdoor activities have been an integral part of his life. Thirteen years ago, he made the leap to Mobile, Alabama, seeking new adventures and opportunities. Since then, he has immersed himself in the maintenance industry, dedicating his skills to industrial, commercial, and residential settings, ensuring that spaces thrive and function at their best.

Beyond his professional pursuits, his passion for exploration knows no bounds. Traveling to new destinations with his Partner fuels his curiosity and broadens his perspective on the world. Whether it’s discovering hidden gems within his own backyard or embarking on journeys to far-flung destinations, each adventure adds layers to the tapestry of his experiences. With a love for the outdoors, a spirit of adventure, and a dedication to his craft, he continues to embrace the journey, both in his personal pursuits and professional endeavors.

FRONT DESK LIAISON

Bree is the Front Desk Receptionist here at The Rent Experts. She is originally from Pace, FL and has called Mobile, AL home for the past two years. She brings a unique blend of skills to the Property Management world as her background is in mortgage lending and project management. She is thrilled to be a part of this amazing team and has enjoyed helping people find a home that suits their immediate “here and now” needs.

Outside the professional sphere, she and her partner explore charming downtown Mobile, often taking their dogs along for adventures on walking trails and to dog parks. In her downtime, she can be found engrossed in sci-fi/fantasy books and TV shows, always ready for a captivating story. When it comes to food, Japanese cuisine is her go-to, and she never misses pairing a meal with a comforting hot sake.

With over 8 years of experience as a customer service representative and dedicated virtual assistant, Royen excels in providing exceptional customers’ assistance in resolving issues promptly with a blend of empathy and efficiency. He is able to handle a variety of responsibilities and efficiently handle routine tasks. He is an excellent team worker and is able to take instructions from all levels and build good working relationships with his colleagues.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and also indulges his passions of singing and traveling to other countries. He finds solace and inspiration in exploring new destinations, meeting diverse people and exploring new cultures.

Kylie plays a crucial role in the tenant acquisition and retention process. Her responsibilities center around meticulously evaluating applicants to ensure they meet the property’s criteria, handling Lease Renewals to maintain a stable and satisfied tenant base, and preparing leases for new move-ins to facilitate smooth transitions. Kylie’s background in Information Technology and her extensive experience in operational roles enable her to bring a unique, efficient approach to these tasks. Her dedication to operational excellence and customer service excellence is evident in the way she manages the leasing process.

In her leisure time, Kylie treasures moments spent with her family, whether it’s embarking on food trips to discover new culinary delights, enjoying restful weekends catching up on sleep, or making memories together at the mall. These activities not only offer her relaxation and joy but also strengthen the bonds with her loved ones, reflecting her commitment to a balanced and fulfilling personal life.

With over five years of experience in customer service and almost 3 years in short-term rental management, Pamela brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Specializing in platforms such as HostAway, Airbnb, and VRBO, she has successfully overseen multiple properties, ensuring seamless guest experiences from booking to departure. Her proficiency in the rental process, coupled with exceptional communication skills, guarantees prompt and professional responses to guest inquiries and concerns, fostering strong relationships and enhancing guest satisfaction.

In addition to her management skills, she excels in effective property maintenance coordination, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions for repairs and upkeep. Through nurturing relationships with local vendors and contractors, she maintains properties in optimal condition, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction. Furthermore, her adeptness in cold calling and lead generation has resulted in a proven track record of identifying prospects and effectively communicating value propositions for commercial real estate offerings. With a keen eye for detail and legal compliance, she also excels in preparing comprehensive rental reports and drafting/negotiating lease agreements, providing clients with accurate and insightful market insights.

PROPERTY INSPECTOR

Keith grew up in Houma, Louisiana, where he graduated from Terrebonne High School. He then served 8 years as an Infantry Paratrooper in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and fought three combat tours between Afghanistan and Iraq. After his time in service, he relocated to Mobile, Alabama where he worked for three years as an Operating Engineer for Seacor Marine, LLC before finding his calling as an Electrician, working another 11 years servicing various maritime, commercial, and industrial companies along the Gulf Coast. In his free time he enjoys being in the outdoors fishing and hunting with his son.
